What Actually Separates One Full-Spectrum Sauna from Another?

“Full spectrum” is commonly used to describe saunas that include near, mid, and far infrared wavelengths. What the term does not describe is how those wavelengths are delivered inside the sauna, or how evenly they are delivered throughout your body during normal use.

Two saunas can both be described as full spectrum, yet be built to very different standards and system layouts.

One may deliver heat from multiple directions and across larger surface areas, while another may rely on more limited heater placement, leaving areas with less consistent coverage.

On a comparison chart, they can look similar. During actual use, the difference is significant.

For those researching full spectrum saunas, this distinction plays a critical role.

Everything Comes Down to Heat Delivery.

Vital Health Full Spectrum saunas are engineered with proprietary 360° all-angle infrared heat coverage, delivering infrared heat from every side of the sauna rather than relying on a few isolated heat sources.

Whether you're seated or standing, infrared heat is distributed throughout the sauna to help provide consistent, full-body coverage without the cold spots commonly found in other heater layouts.

When infrared heat is delivered from every angle, coverage becomes consistent by design, not dependent on positioning.

The 13-minute walkthrough video below shows how our proprietary 360° all-angle infrared heat coverage works, why heater placement matters, and how complete near, mid, and far infrared heat coverage is delivered throughout the sauna.

Although this video demonstrates our 2-person model, the same engineering principles are used across our entire Full Spectrum sauna lineup.
